Ashland City Free Will Baptist is committed to the health and safety of its congregants and staff and will following local, state, and CDC protocols for resuming corporate gatherings within its church building. Based on guidance received by the Governor's Office, we will observe the following:
CHURCH SERVICES
We will have a phased-approach in resuming corporate worship by observing social distancing for individuals not living in the same household at a minimum of six (6) feet apart and not exceeding 50% of church capacity during each gathering.
  • Beginning Sunday, May 10, 2020, we will provide two worship services each Sunday: 9:00am and 10:30am.
  • Online services will still be broadcast on Facebook at 10:30am each Sunday.
  • Midweek services will resume on Wednesday, May 13 at 6:30pm for adults and youth.
  • The nursery, children's church, and Sunday school will remain cancelled during the initial weeks of our restarting period.

SOCIAL DISTANCING PROTOCOL
During our phased-approach in resuming corporate worship, we will observe the following protocols:
  • If you are ill or have been exposed to someone who is ill, please stay home and join our LIVE broadcast on Facebook.
  • Face coverings and hand sanitizer are available in the church foyer for those who desire to use them.
  • Families within the same household are asked to sit together.
  • Individuals not living in the same household should sit a minimum of six (6) feet apart.
  • Church pews will be marked to help increase space between individuals not living in the same household.
  • Church leadership/staff will not encourage physical contact including handshaking or hugging.
  • Individuals should not linger in the common areas such as the church foyer or hallways.
  • Restroom usage should be limited to one person at a time unless individuals are from the same household.

CHURCH FACILITIES
  • The church building will be cleaned and sanitized between each corporate gathering.
  • All interior doors should remain open to minimize the number of "touches" on door handles and door plates.
  • Church water fountains will remain out of order.
